1. Egg Categories & How to Obtain Them

Egg hatching serves as a primary pipeline for high-IV Pokémon (10/10/10 IV floor) alongside generous Candy and Stardust bounties.

Egg Classifications:

2km Eggs (Green): Accessible starters and common companions.
5km Eggs (Yellow): Mid-tier spawns and regional entries from PokéStops.
7km Eggs (Pink & Yellow): Exclusively gifted by friends. House regional forms (Alolan/Galarian) and baby Pokémon.
10km Eggs (Purple): Rare pseudo-legendaries and apex dragons.
12km Strange Eggs (Red): Sourced exclusively from Team GO Rocket Leaders (Cliff, Sierra, Arlo). Feature exclusive Dark/Poison species including Salandit, Sandile, and Varoom.
Adventure Sync Eggs (5km & 10km): Rewarded every Monday at 9:00 AM for clearing 25km or 50km weekly milestones.

Pro Tips for Max Efficiency:

  • Before battling a Team GO Rocket Leader, always ensure you have an open egg slot (or space in the extra 3-slot storage), otherwise the 12km Strange Egg is permanently lost!
  • Dedicate your infinite orange incubator strictly to 2km eggs. Reserve Super Incubators for 10km and 12km eggs.
